The Kingsley Napley Modern Families team will be hosting an insightful seminar on LGBTQ+ Parenthood on Tuesday 10 March 2026. Chaired by Melinka Berridge and supported by our Modern Family teams, this event will explore key legal and practical considerations for LGBTQ+ families and professionals.

Topics include:

  • Routes to parenthood.
  • Legalities of surrogacy and adoption.
  • A view from the clinics.
  • Psychological outcomes for families formed using surrogacy and gamete donation.

Guest speakers:

  • Anna Buxton supports international patients at San Diego Fertility Center, drawing on her own surrogacy journey across four countries and her experience as a mum to three, including SDFC twins. She is dedicated to educating intended parents and coordinating global gamete shipments, and after an 18‑year career in investment management, she has found her true vocation in advocating for all families.
  • Dr. Vasanti Jadva is a Developmental Psychologist in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at City St George's, University of London. She holds honorary positions at the Centre for Child, Adolescent and Family Research, University of Cambridge and the Institute for Women's Health, UCL.

This seminar is designed for intended parents; please share this information within your firm or network. This event would also be beneficial for people in your network or organisation who manage diversity and inclusion, as well as anyone seeking to learn more about how they can support people on their journey to parenthood.
