Kingsley Napley is an internationally recognised law firm with offices based in London. As part of our growing international services we offer support to British expats living in Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE.

Our wide range of legal expertise enables us to provide support for our clients in all areas of their business and private lives. For expats based in Dubai and the UAE, this ranges from family law to immigration, wills and succession planning, tax investigations, criminal offences and interpol among others services.

We represent clients living or connected to Dubai and the wider UAE in respect of proceedings under English law.

We advise on the complexities faced by the multi jurisdictional families that live in the UAE and work closely with local and other international experts to offer the most comprehensive advice on divorce, forum , finances and children.

Jim Sawer, a Partner in Kingsley Napley's Private Client team, is a registered Wills Draftsman with the WPR and therefore authorised to draft and advise on the production of DIFC compliant Wills and he can take you step by step through the process to ensure your Will is compliant with the DIFC regulations.

Our Private Client team can also advise in relation to your UK assets and ensure that assets located in the UK are dealt with and dovetail appropriately with your Dubai Will or other Wills you may have in other jurisdictions.

As the leading criminal defence solicitors in the UK, Kingsley Napley has many years of experience in dealing with investigations that span several jurisdictions.  We have a key network of experienced contacts with whom we work when dealing with international matters.

The team has particular expertise in dealing with requests from foreign authorities, and has a proven track record in challenging INTERPOL red notices issued in the UAE.

Rebecca Niblock specialises in this area, and has co-written one of the leading texts on extradition law.

Nicolas Rollason has forged strong links with the wealth management community to assist their high net worth clients based in the UAE with their immigration needs. Their service offering encompasses advising both British expats living in Dubai and elsewhere in the UAE, as well as others  living in the region. Full assistance can be provided with a Tier 1 (Investor) visa and all associated ancillary matters.

We also regularly work with our team of expert lawyers in our family law department to provide a comprehensive family law and immigration service. Our services range from advising on the immigration issues arising following a relationship breakdown to advising in connection with surrogacy arrangements.

For British ex-pats who may wish to transfer to other locations, we can also assist with securing relevant visas by working in conjunction with our specialist network of KN Global immigration co-counsel.
