She regularly advises on small (angel and VC) investments, guides founders and directors through their ongoing corporate obligations and duties, drafts and/or advises on employee share option schemes, advises on share and asset sales and purchases and drafts and/or advises on shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts (with clients or suppliers).
Roberta’s clients include tech startups, angel investors and founders of owner managed businesses.
She often advises clients preparing to make a big change in their working lives, whether that be setting up a new business, getting investment into their business, re-structuring their business, selling their business, dealing with a shareholder dispute or making an investment in a business, by way of equity or loan capital or by way of investment into a new piece of equipment or technology.
Roberta aims to provide hands on commercial advice and offer creative and commercial solutions to corporate and commercial legal issues.
Roberta is a mentor for Entrepreneur Academe, a mentoring programme run by Angel Academe (an award winning angel investor network) for women tech founders supported by the City of London, and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
