Cohabitation documents required for dependants on indefinite leave to remain (ILR) applications

Following a recent change in the UKBA application forms, those applying for ILR in the UK as a dependant now need to provide supporting documents with their applications showing that the couple have lived together for at least two years.

Tier 2 ICTs can be extended beyond five years

The UK Border Agency (UKBA) has now confirmed that employees in the UK under the Tier 2 intra-company transfer route (ICT) can apply to remain here beyond five years if their initial visas were granted before 6 April 2011.
