Phoebe is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team. 

She has experience acting for both corporate and individual clients on a broad range of disputes, including complex multi-jurisdictional litigation involving allegations of fraud and conspiracy, general commercial and contractual matters, and media-related disputes involving reputation and privacy issues. 

Phoebe’s litigation experience includes assisting with freezing injunctions, asset disclosure and imaging orders, acting for claimants and defendants in financial and breach of contract disputes, and complex high-value fraud cases, often with a multi-jurisdictional element. 

Phoebe also has experience of media and reputation disputes, including in relation to harassment, defamation, and privacy. 

Phoebe is a member of the firm’s cross-practice Art & Cultural Property Law group. She is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono work, and volunteers as a student adviser for the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre as well as for Zacchaeus 2000 Trust (a charity the firm works with to represent individuals at disability benefits tribunals).  Phoebe is listed in the Pro Bono Recognition List 2025.

Recent work 

  • Acting for the Fourth Defendant to the Counterclaim in Ras Al-Khaimah Investment Authority v Azima and others, part of a long-running litigation concerning allegations of fraud, perjury and computer hacking;
  • Acting for a client in defending a multi-jurisdictional and high-value claim under a personal guarantee in respect of a company debt;
  • Representing a client in resolving high-value contentious tax matters;
  • Acting for clients based both inside and outside the jurisdiction defending a variety of applications including Norwich Pharmacal applications, freezing injunctions, imaging and asset disclosure orders;
  • Acting for a claimant in a will rectification claim and connected professional negligence claim;
  • Acting on various cases involving pre and post publication media advice, and privacy issues;
  • Assisting with a dispute involving the publication of defamatory allegations against a client; and
  • Acting in a variety of contractual and corporate disputes.

Phoebe read English and French at the University of Leeds, graduating with first class honours. She achieved a distinction in both the GDL and LPC with a Masters in Professional Practice.
