Peter Paul is a Senior Paralegal in the Real Estate and Construction team (Litigation). Peter joined Kingsley Napley in January 2021 from a national law firm.
Peter assists a wide range of clients including landlords, managing agents, retailers and private individuals across all aspects of property disputes.
This includes:
- commercial and residential property dispute matters
- providing advice and support to both landlords and tenants on the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- tenant default
- contractual break notices
- dilapidations claims
- forfeiture
- residential possession proceedings.
Recent work
Recently, Peter has advised and acted for:
- a tenant regarding its compliance with extensive obligations in order to comply with the exercise of a break clause in a commercial lease
- an overseas provincial government which required advice about its legal position in relation to the presence of asbestos at its central London premises
- a landlord seeking to recover possession of residential premises which required service of notices to quit alongside section 21 notices
- a commercial landlord with regard to tenant’s disrepairs and service of a Schedule of Dilapidations
