Kelly joins from Blick Rothenberg where she has spent the last eighteen months as a tax adviser helping HNW clients navigate international taxation rules. She is a rare dual qualified chartered tax adviser and tax lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience in tax advisory planning for HNWs.
Kelly’s arrival follows the appointment of Paul Davidoff in September to develop Kingsley Napley’s international tax desk and adds to the Private Client team’s expertise in international tax and estate planning for internationally mobile HNWs. Kelly has a particular specialism in UK/US tax rules, often acts as an expert witness on tax issues and lectures at the International University of Monaco on International Management of Family Wealth. She also sits on the advisory board to the International Tax Planning Association. Until last year Kelly was Worldwide Chair of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), and she remains on the STEP Board.
Supporting Kelly and Paul will be Abbie West-Kelsey, who previously worked with Kelly at Blick Rothenberg. Abbie is a specialist tax accountant with a particular focus on succession planning for our HNW clients, helping clients protect their wealth across generations and borders.
Kingsley Napley’s Head of Private Client James Ward comments:
Kelly is a legend in the world of international taxation and will bring significant knowledge, great connections and positive energy to our team. I am delighted both she and Abbie have agreed to join us and will be working closely with Paul and other team members to support our international HNW and family office clients who seek their expert advice.”
