The University of Surrey’s final report ‘People Like Us? Understanding Complaints about paramedics and social workers’ has been published on the HCPC website. The study explored the reasons behind the disproportionate number of complaints made to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) about paramedics and social workers relative to other HCPC professions.
This case involved an appeal to the High Court by Mr A, a Biomedical Scientist challenging the decisions made by the Conduct and Competence Committee (the Panel) of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) dated 10 September 2013 and 6 April 2017.
