The Home Office is currently introducing a range of priority visa services in many visa application centres around the world, including business visitor and Tier 2 visa applications. On payment of the appropriate additional fee, the relevant centre will place the application at the front of the queue and will in most cases process the application within 5 working days.

This growing popularity is spurred on by the wider availability of global surrogacy services, high profile celebrity surrogate babies and increasing frustration with adoption services both domestic and foreign. As more children are born as the result of a surrogacy arrangement, family, immigration and nationality laws in the UK and across the globe have struggled to keep up with this developing area of law.
