Emma joined Kingsley Napley in 2012, and has worked in immigration since 2010.

Emma advises corporate clients on all stages of the immigration process. She guides corporate clients through sponsor licence and Tier 2 applications, and has a detailed knowledge of prevention of illegal working. She also helps employees with permanent residence, indefinite leave to remain and naturalisation applications.

Emma studied modern languages at the University of Birmingham and is a graduate member of CILEx, having recently completed the Diploma in Law and Practice.  She is currently secretary of the CILEx London Branch.

  • Advising an investment bank with the immigration aspects of a restructure and resultant TUPE transfers
  • Assisting an overseas business with obtaining work permission for a sole representative, to allow them to establish a UK subsidiary
  • Advising a technology business on advertising, making a restricted Certificate of Sponsorship request and submitting a Tier 2 (General) application for a new hire
  • Secondment into a client’s HR team to introduce robust immigration policies and procedures and train the team on prevention of illegal working
