FRC Launches Consultation on New Routes to Resolution Under the Audit Enforcement Procedure

Bethan Owen and Vanessa Whatley of Kingsley Napley’s Real Estate department decided to tackle the world’s largest property conference, MIPIM (www.mipim.com) this year.
MIPIM may appear to many people to be an excuse for a jolly on the south coast of France and as our first morning kicked off with a breakfast meeting on a 100ft yacht with the champagne flowing by 11am, you can see where this impression comes from. However, few would argue that having most of the leading property players in one place is not an excellent networking opportunity. With over 20,000 delegates attending there are numerous parties and events to attend and we finished where we had started with a cocktail party on Silvertown Properties’ yacht.
We came away from MIPIM with a positive view both of the value of attending MIPIM and the mood at the conference, which was definitely upbeat and optimistic about opportunities in the coming year.
On a side note – we wonder how many people who attend the conference actually know what MIPIM stands for, our guess is Men In Property In March! Answers on a postcard.
