Accountancy regulators confront AI cheating in exams

News broke this week that hundreds of women were suing the NHS and the manufacturers of vaginal mesh implants after facing serious health complications. Women have been left unable to walk, work or have sex as a result of the treatment, with many sufferers claiming they were never informed of the potential dangers before having the mesh fitted.
Medical treatment does not always go to plan. Mistakes can cause patients to suffer an injury. Some patients will simply want an explanation or an apology. Some will ask for financial compensation (or “damages”) for the mistakes made. All will want reassurance that such mistakes will not happen again to others.
