From 18 August, those booking a premium appointment at a Public Enquiry Office (PEO) will now be asked to pay their whole fee upfront at the same time as booking an appointment online. This includes the premium fee of £375 and appointment fee of £100.
On 25 July we wrote about the expansion of Priority Visa Services and can now update you with news of additional locations offering these services.
The Home Office is currently introducing a range of priority visa services in many visa application centres around the world, including business visitor and Tier 2 visa applications. On payment of the appropriate additional fee, the relevant centre will place the application at the front of the queue and will in most cases process the application within 5 working days.
The Home Office is undertaking an internal review to consider how the application and enforcement of immigration policies and processes in relation to skilled and highly skilled migrants can be improved.
The Home Office has started piloting a new same day super priority visa service which it hopes to roll out more widely including in the US.
