A guide to guiding the visually impaired
On Thursday 12 June 2014, various members of Kingsley Napley’s Clinical Negligence, Regulatory, and Private Client teams gave up their time to volunteer on behalf of the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) at the Vision UK Conference 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.

Kingsley Napley is proud to be a Stonewall Diversity Champion
Stonewall is a charity that promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) rights. Kingsley Napley (KN) joined Stonewall’s Diversity Championship Programme earlier this year. The Diversity Championship Programme is a way in which employers can bring LGB visibility, inclusion and rights into the working environment by working in partnership with Stonewall. This can take place on several levels, such as raising awareness within the firm by holding talks and events and ensuring that appropriate policies are implemented. The main aim of the programme is to encourage inclusivity and to ensure that homophobia, or discrimination of any kind, is not tolerated.

Embracing Mental Health Awareness Week at Kingsley Napley
During this week of 06 October 2014, Kingsley Napley joined thousands of other organisations across the world to celebrate the most important week in the mental health calendar – Mental Health Awareness Week, which culminates in World Mental Health Day today. To raise awareness of mental health issues (particularly within the legal sector), Kingsley Napley’s Diversity & Inclusion group organised a week-long campaign, which included a firm-wide lunch with inspirational speakers to raise awareness of key issues.

A day at the office for students from The Boxing Academy
Earlier this summer, seven students from The Boxing Academy came to spend a day at Kingsley Napley’s offices in Farringdon. The Boxing Academy is one of the three charities Kingsley Napley (KN) employees have elected to support over a two year period.
