The team acted for a gentleman following the failure of a hospital Trust to organise a repeat PSA test, which led to a 4 year delay in diagnosing prostate cancer. Sadly it meant that when the cancer was diagnosed, it had metastasised, and expert evidence suggested that the Claimant’s life expectancy was limited as a result.
Settlement was reached in early 2017 for £325,000.
Elements of the claim involved life expectancy evidence, care needs and accommodation requirements.
