Failures of a London Trust which lead to 4 year delay in diagnosing prostate cancer. Settlement was reached in early 2018 for £325,000

The team acted for a gentleman following the failure of a hospital Trust to organise a repeat PSA test, which led to a 4 year delay in diagnosing prostate cancer.  Sadly it meant that when the cancer was diagnosed, it had metastasised, and expert evidence suggested that the Claimant’s life expectancy was limited as a result.

Settlement was reached in early 2017 for £325,000.

Elements of the claim involved life expectancy evidence, care needs and accommodation requirements.

“The service we received from Kirsty and Terry was very efficient, reliable and trustworthy, and they were always willing to help. We are very happy with the outcome.”
