CONSENT MATTERS – Setting the standard for respect and boundaries whilst at university (and steps to take if things go wrong)

Prior to joining the firm, Zenia worked as a Senior Divorce and Family Paralegal at a leading litigation firm. She assisted on cases acting for high net worth individuals in the UK and overseas on a range of complex divorce and financial proceedings, contentious children matters, Schedule 1 cases and pre and post-nuptial agreements. Prior to this, Zenia also worked as a Litigation Fee Earner at a regional consumer law firm.
Zenia enjoys supporting pro-bono projects and has previously volunteered with the Personal Support Unit and East Manchester Legal Advice Centre. She is currently volunteering with Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre, Amicus ALJ (supporting their Florida Project in respect of death penalty work) and is also involved with the Schools Consent Project.
Zenia studied Criminology at the University of Manchester and subsequently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at BPP University in Manchester. She then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course LLM at the University of Law, obtaining a distinction.
