Kate has worked with a wide range of clients on their UK immigration and nationality applications. She has particular expertise in corporate immigration in the finance, retail and technology sectors and has assisted many companies with obtaining sponsor licences to enable them to employ overseas nationals in the UK.

Prior to joining Kingsley Napley, Kate studied English and French Law at the University of Exeter before working at Laura Devine Immigration, another top tier immigration firm for six years. During this time, she gained extensive experience in both corporate and private client immigration matters.

- Providing compliance training to new sponsors including how to conduct employee right to work checks and meet their record keeping and reporting duties in relation to sponsored workers.
- Advising corporate groups who are going through organisational changes such as a merger or acquisition on how to transfer sponsored workers between entities and apply for a new sponsor licence where there has been a direct change in owner.
- Advising private clients on nationality applications where there have been excess absences and other complications such as a criminality.
