Isabella McDonnell is a trainee solicitor at Kingsley Napley and is currently in her second seat with the Dispute Resolution team.
Prior to commencing her training contract, Isabella joined Kingsley Napley in August 2021 as a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team where she assisted on a broad range of disputes, including media, privacy, commercial and contract, professional negligence, contentious trusts and probate. Isabella has a particular interest in claims that intersect both civil and criminal law.
Isabella completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course LLM from BPP University in 2023. She subsequently completed an interdisciplinary Master of Science in Mental Health, Ethics and Law from King’s College London in September 2024, with a focus on mental capacity and non-consensual deepfake pornography.
Before her legal qualifications, Isabella completed her liberal arts undergraduate degree at American University in Washington, D.C., along with a study abroad programme in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Isabella is an active participant in Kingsley Napley’s D&I groups, including Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage (REACH) and LGBTQ+ & Allies.
Isabella speaks Spanish and Italian.
