Emily is an Associate (Foreign Qualified) in them firm’s Regulatory team.
Emily has experience in advising a range of regulators and regulated professionals in relation to procedures, governance, compliance, investigations and disciplinary proceedings in the legal, education, architecture and healthcare sectors.
In her legal services regulatory practice, Emily acts for law firms, solicitors and barristers, advising on the full spectrum of SRA related matters. This includes advice on reporting obligations, internal reviews and complaints arising out of counter-inclusive behaviours, such as sexual misconduct and harassment. Emily acts at all stages of regulatory proceedings, from commencing investigations to tribunal hearings.
Emily is an Australian qualified lawyer, having been admitted to the legal profession in June 2019. Once qualified, Emily worked as a Solicitor at a Melbourne law firm where she represented clients in criminal, regulatory and quasi-criminal law matters. Emily is listed in the Pro Bono Recognition List 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily was an Associate to a Justice in the Criminal Trial Division at the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. In this role, she was exposed to matters involving serious indictable offences, bail applications and complex claims of public interest immunity. Emily’s background in criminal law, has meant that she is forensic and scrupulous in her approach to matters.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Business (International Management) and a Bachelor of Law (Principles of Public Law) from La Trobe University, Australia.
