Emerald supports clients on a range of corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on early-stage investments, from quickseed rounds to large institutional funding, acting for both investors and companies. She also regularly works on later-stage M&A.
She particularly enjoys supporting innovative businesses through all stages of growth and has a strong interest in advising clients in the technology and life sciences sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Emerald trained at a US law firm with a focus on technology and life sciences. She studied Scots law with English law at the University of Aberdeen before completing the LPC with an MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law.
