Eleanor is an Associate in the family team and joined the firm in August 2022. She has experience in dealing with all aspects of family law issues arising on the breakdown of relationships, including matters involving both finances and children.

Eleanor has particular expertise advising on:

  • All stages of divorce, dissolution and judicial separation proceedings, including where proceedings could be issued in more than one jurisdiction;
  • Complex financial arrangements, with particular expertise in cases involving property portfolios, international assets, inheritance, businesses and partnership assets;
  • Issues concerning the arrangements for children, including representing clients in contested Children Act proceedings;
  • Assisting clients in applying for non-molestation and occupation orders (as well as defending applications); and
  • Wealth protection, including drafting cohabitation agreements and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Eleanor is focused on reaching the best resolution for her clients in a pragmatic and amicable way, supported by alternative dispute resolution where appropriate. She aims to provide clear and sensible advice, alongside providing compassion and sensitivity to her clients throughout their case.

Where possible, Eleanor seeks to settle her client’s cases without the need for contested court proceedings. Her years of experience dealing with litigation, however, means that she is able to provide robust advice where court proceedings cannot be avoided.

Eleanor studied Law at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2016. She then went on to work as a paralegal at a top tier specialist family law firm in Hertfordshire, later completing her training contract with the firm. Eleanor qualified in September 2019.

Eleanor is an active member of the London Young Resolution Committee.
