Daphne is an associate (CILEX) in the Costs team and works on a broad range of costs matters for dispute resolutions, clinical negligence, family and court of protection cases.
Daphne is experienced in the preparation of the Court compliant Bills of Costs, costs schedule and costs submissions in support of summary assessments and/or to obtain costs orders; Costs Budgets preparation and negotiations at various different level of proceedings, etc.
Daphne studied Law at the University of Surrey and subsequently completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, Guildford.
Daphne trained in an in-house Costs department at a national law firm before joining Kingsley Napley in 2019. Daphne has experience in dealing with various costs issues since 2012, including preparation for costs assessments, settle costs disputes in different levels and stages of proceedings and provide various costs trainings across the firm. In April 2021, Daphne qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in costs.
Daphne is also a certified Legal Project Practitioner. Finally, Daphne is a representative on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
