Charlie is an Associate in the Public Law team.
Charlie has experience of bringing and defending public law challenges in a variety of contexts and sectors including payment/financial services, criminal justice, education, healthcare and policing. He has worked on large investigations and internal reviews concerning criminal and regulatory matters, and has extensive experience of working with regulators and ombudsman in the energy, local government, legal and financial services sectors to advise on their statutory powers, data protection obligations and/or in respect of prospective or active litigation.
Charlie has broad experience of public inquiries and inquests, assisting both institutional clients and individuals as witnesses, core participants and interested persons through proceedings and in the provision of written and oral evidence.
As well as regulators, private individuals and corporate clients, he has acted for charities, NGOs, trades bodies, advocacy and interest groups to advise on public law matters.
