Charlie joined the Kingsley Napley Public Law team as an Associate in September 2021 after completing his training contract at the firm.
 

During his time as a trainee and since qualifying Charlie has assisted in judicial review proceedings, in the preparation for a major public inquest, in advising an NGO in circumstances where its international funding partners were implicated in human rights abuses and in advising clients on data protection matters.

During his training contract, Charlie undertook seats with the Regulatory, Employment and Criminal Litigation departments as well with the Public Law team. Prior to joining Kingsley Napley, Charlie worked as a paralegal at a leading London litigation firm. Charlie read History and Politics at Newcastle University. After working in the charity sector he completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Moorgate. 

Charlie participates in Kingsley Napley’s Social Mobility group and pro bono initiatives, including by providing advice to clients on criminal law matters through the Queen Mary University Legal Advice Clinic.
