From Certificates to Belief Statements: The CPS and the Limits of Forum Bar Intervention

On Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Day 2024, we are delighted to announce that the Kingsley Napley Medical Negligence and Personal Injury department is now sponsoring the Family Team at Back Up, a vital charity offering life-transforming services that rebuild confidence and independence for spinal cord injured individuals and their family members. The Family Team provides support to family members who themselves may face significant challenges and often feel helpless and isolated.
Our team at Kingsley Napley represent adults and children with spinal cord injuries, caused by medical negligence or by trauma from an accident. We understand how devastating the consequences of this type of injury can be, with a huge impact on quality of life.
It is estimated that there are around 105,000 people in the UK living with a spinal cord injury and we support Back Up in it’s mission to increase awareness and understanding of the many hurdles they face. In our work, we see first-hand how essential support is for those with spinal injuries and for the people who care for them.
