Everyone at Kingsley Napley sends their deepest condolences to the family and friends of our much-loved and admired colleague Christopher Boughton, who passed away suddenly on 5 November 2021 aged 33.
Christopher joined our Regulatory team in early 2017, before starting his training contract in 2018 and qualifying into our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team in September 2020.
Christopher chose to specialise in medical negligence and personal injury claims so that he could help people who had suffered life-changing injuries. An enthusiastic cyclist himself, he was especially keen to represent those who had been hurt as a result of traffic collisions or road defects.
Not only was he an exceptionally talented lawyer, he was also always happy to volunteer his time outside of work. Christopher was actively involved in a number of the firm’s charitable projects and was a popular member of our Touch Rugby team.
He was genuine, deeply principled and kind and it is our privilege to have known him, to have worked alongside him and to have him as our friend.
We know how highly Christopher was respected by both clients and colleagues alike, and just how much he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this very difficult time.
