Will Hayes, Associate (Barrister) in our Criminal Litigation team was quoted in an article in  The Times on 3 June 2019 - 
 

Rape victims will be allowed to give evidence in advance

Will Hayes said that pre-recording was

"unlikely to exempt complainants from the usual robust approach to cross examination, which is often  reported as being an uncomfortable and stressful experience, irrespective of where and when it takes place”.
