Since 18 July 2011, the arrangements for those taking the Life in the UK test have changed. Applicants must now register for, book and pay for their test online. On the day of the test they must also take their photographic ID and proof of their UK address.
Applicants for indefinite leave to remain need to have passed the Life in the UK test before they can submit their permanent residence applications. For more details on the test click here.
