We recently notified you of the reinstatement of the representative slots at the Public Enquiry Office in Croydon for the same day processing of applications. Unfortunately, difficulties remain in securing appointments as slots are currently booked up until May.
Following the publication of the Migration Advisory Committee’s (“MAC”) recommendations last year, the UK Border Agency (“UKBA”) has today issued a Statement of Intent which for the most part follows the MAC’s recommendations.
The Migration Advisory Committee (“MAC”) has today published its recommendations following an extensive consultation with interested parties.
Kingsley Napley is very pleased to announce that following a strong lobby by immigration law firms, including Kingsley Napley, the UK Border Agency has reversed its decision to remove the ability of immigration firms to have representative slots at the Public Enquiry Office (PEO) for same day processing of applications.
Important Change to the UK Immigration Rules From 13 February 2012 the Immigration Rules will be changed so that following the refusal of a valid in time application, the UK Border Agency (UKBA) will also make a removal decision.
