Press Round-Up: Regulatory and Professional Discipline – August and September 2025
Imogen Roberts
Kingsley Napley's Clinical Negligence team acted for a 54 year old man who received a lump sum of £1,000,000 for injuries he sustained following the delay in diagnosis of his abdominal trauma and his ruptured spleen following a 12’ fall. He sustained an anoxic-ischaemic brain injury, which manifested as mild cognitive impairment, mild truncal ataxia, right upper limbs dystonia, and upper limb extra-pyramidal movement disorder. The injuries were, however, such that he was not able to continue as a highly successful QC and Recorder on the South Coast.
