Stavriana joined Kinglsey Napley in August 2022 after completing the firm’s work experience programme. Having initially worked in the Immigration team, Stavriana is now part of the Family Law team and assists with a variety of cases including divorce proceedings, financial matters, arrangements for children and surrogacy.
Stavriana frequently assists on financial cases involving high-value and cross-border financial issues, including assets located in multiple jurisdictions. Stavriana also provides support in matters relating to arrangements for children, including their residence, welfare, and contact with each parent, as well as jurisdictional disputes.
Stavriana is also fluent in Greek, allowing her to assist Greek-speaking clients and third parties and provide comprehensive support in cases involving links to Greece or Cyprus.
Stavriana completed her Law degree at the University of Nottingham before going on to study for her Master’s degree in Human Rights Law at University College London.
Stavriana volunteers for the Family Law Clinic at the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre. During her time at UCL, she also took part in two pro bono projects, attending bail/remand hearings as part of the JUSTICE Court Observers Project and volunteering as a caseworker at the Freedom Law Clinic where she worked on the Criminal Appeals Project.
