Gemma is an Associate in the Real Estate team specialising in residential property, having joined the firm in November 2022.
Gemma deals with transactional matters and has a wide range of residential experience. Gemma has acted for developers, high net worth individuals, corporate investors, overseas buyers (including companies), LPA receivers and Trustees in Bankruptcy.
Prior to joining Kingsley Napley, Gemma trained and worked at Wedlake Bell LLP. Gemma studied part-time to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive before converting this qualification to become a Solicitor.

Gemma has particular expertise in the following areas:
- Residential: acting for individuals and companies purchasing and selling high value freehold and leasehold properties, primarily in London.
- Property investment: acquiring large portfolios of properties both freehold, leasehold and tenanted for property investors.
- Development: acting for clients in the purchase of residential properties intended for development; acting for developers in connection with the preparation and drafting of sales packs for the onward sale of new-build properties; acting for developers in the sale of both prime high-value, low-volume new-build properties in London and low-value high-volume sales of new-build properties outside of London; acting for individuals and companies purchasing new-build properties from prime sites in London.
- Landlord/portfolio management: acting for landlords in connection with the management of their portfolios by dealing with voluntary lease extensions, licences for alteration, deeds of variation, sales and purchases.
- Block sales: acting for landlords to sell blocks of flats including the preparation and service of Section 5 Notices.
- Real estate finance: acting for both individuals and companies to assist with refinances.
- Bankruptcy: acting for trustees in bankruptcy in connection with sales of properties pursuant to court order including both individual properties and plots on new-build developments.
- LPA Receivers: acting for LPA receivers exercising their power of sale to sell both individual properties and plots on new-build developments.
