Highlighting the importance of celebrating women’s achievements this year for International Women’s Day, Roberta Draper talks to Anika Henry, co-author of the Black Report and support at Google for Startups, about her successes in the tech and legal industries. Anika discusses the need to have more women in positions of power where they can positively impact and introduce change to improve equality.
Anika continues to challenge gender bias and keep the momentum going as she supports women daily through her voice and platforms.
About Anika Henry
Anika is co-author of the Black Report, the first report on Black founders in the UK. Anika also championed several racial justice initiatives at Google for Startups, including Angel Investing School, the first European Black Founders program and the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund (Europe) as the Campus Lead at Google Campus (London).
Anika studied at Queen Mary University of London and has an LLB (Hons) in Law.
