BAME event: Challenges faced at work

On Monday 3 December, five leading lawyers all from BAME backgrounds shared with us their journey into law and the challenges and opportunities that they have faced. The event took place as a live webinar and we invited all those who are either BAME or allies of BAME to also share their experiences about how to overcome struggles at work.

Chaired by Sandra Paul, Partner in Criminal Litigation at Kingsley Napley. The speakers included Marcia Longdon, Partner in Immigration at Kingsley Napley, Paul McFarlane, Partner in Employment Law at Weightmans, Natalie Carter, Solicitor in Commercial Real Estate and Director of Urban Lawyers and Isaac Eloi, trainee solicitor at Freeths and UK Diversity Legal Awards BSN Rising Entrepreneurship Star.
