For even the best-run accountancy firms, things can still go wrong. Whether this relates to misconduct in the office or a breach of professional obligations at a work social event, responding promptly and effectively to the issue can minimise both regulatory and reputational risks.
As an independent investigator, we can help you by getting to the bottom of what went wrong. We draw on our compliance experience to advise on how to put it right and make recommendations so that lessons can be learnt and the risk of recurrence is minimised. We also advise on any reporting obligations to a regulator, for example the ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS or ICAI, which might exist in respect of the circumstances, including the best way for those obligations to be fulfilled while protecting the firm’s interests.
