4 June 2025

Kingsley Napley is pleased to announce that Kiran Vasudeva has joined the firm this week as a partner in its Private Client team.

Kiran specialises in Court of Protection and Deputyships work and has a wealth of experience in setting up and administering personal injury trusts; setting up and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney; and general estate planning, will preparation, probate and advice on other trust structures.

In particular, Kiran often works on behalf of clients who have lost mental capacity due to conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia or who have sustained serious brain injuries as a result of a catastrophic accident or birth trauma. She manages their funds carefully in order to meet their lifetime needs. She is also expert in dealing with cases of suspected financial abuse and has a track record of bringing or defending proceedings in the Court of Protection including disputes between property and financial affairs attorneys, contested deputyship applications, and allegations of misappropriated funds by deputies and attorneys. She acts as a Court expert for deputyship and trust management costs in litigated cases.

Kiran joins from JMW’s London office where she has been a partner since 2020. Prior to that she spent 8 years at New Quadrant Partners and previously 8 years at Irwin Mitchell where she trained and qualified.

At the same time Kingsley Napley is pleased to announce the formal launch of its new trust corporation. This is a corporate entity that will allow the firm to manage deputyships, trusteeships, executorships and attorneyships more efficiently and with greater protection for clients. It will also allow us to expand our services in independent estate administration.

James Ward, Head of Private Client at Kingsley Napley, comments, “I am delighted to welcome Kiran to the firm. She is well known to a lot of our Private Client team and is well regarded for her excellent client service. We have a successful and dedicated team that focuses on Deputyships and Court of Protection work and Kiran will be a great fit to support our growing client needs in this area.”

“In addition, the formation of the Kingsley Napley Trust Corporation enhances our offering for deputies, executors and trusts. It shows our on-going commitment in the Private Wealth sphere and provides further wrap around services for our clients.”

Kiran comments: “I’m very much looking forward to continuing my practice at Kingsley Napley and to the opportunity to be part of their respected Court of Protection team.”

Kiran is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as vice chair of the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (London subgroup).  She has been ranked by Chambers for the last 6 years including in its most recent 2025 directory.
