Úna is a trainee solicitor, currently sitting in the Construction and Engineering team. She works on a wide variety of construction, engineering and infrastructure projects.

Úna has previously spent a few years working in the Real Estate team, developing a wealth of experience across a variety of matters, including residential and commercial acquisitions and disposals; sub-sales; property litigation; investment; asset management and refinancing; landlord and tenant work; auction sales and development matters.

Úna also spent two years working in the firm’s Criminal Litigation department. Her work focussed on criminal defence and police investigations; white collar and financial crime; international crime and extradition; private prosecutions and public inquiries.

Úna combines her work with her studies at the University of Law, London, where she is in her fifth year, working towards a Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship. She is due to qualify in 2026.

Úna was the inaugural winner of The Legal Apprentice in 2019, a competition run by Kingsley Napley in association with The Times in which 902 teams from 308 colleges across the UK competed against each other through a series of heats testing students’ drafting, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Úna is passionate about fostering responsible business practices, and is actively involved in the firm’s LGBTQ, Charities, Social Mobility and Environment committees. She is a long-term volunteer for Amicus, and has helped develop the LILA Trailblazers’ Programme, a social mobility initiative for working-class students across Ireland with an interest in law.
