Our People

Laurence is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution Team. He has been recognised as a leading associate in both commercial litigation and civil fraud in The Legal 500.

Laurence has broad experience as a general commercial litigator with a focus on complex large-scale civil fraud and financial disputes. He often works as part of a team of global professional advisors on matters with multi-jurisdictional elements.

He is experienced in acting in claims involving the recovery of assets in offshore jurisdictions, freezing orders, search orders, Norwich Pharmacal orders and other types of interim relief.

Laurence also works on contractual and intellectual property disputes, acting for both claimants and defendants.

Acting for a liquidator of an offshore fund in a multi-jurisdictional claim recovering substantial funds which had been misappropriated;
Assisting a supervising solicitor on the execution of a search and imaging order obtained against a defendant company;
Acting for a claimant in a patent dispute with a global corporation;
Acting for a company in defending allegations that transactions were a sham or entered into at an undervalue;
Acting for a company in respect of a Norwich Pharmacal application and dispute concerning the misuse of company information;
Acting for a defendant in a claim involving allegations of fraud including defending an application for a freezing order;
Acting for an individual in a contract dispute and successfully negotiating a settlement at mediation.
