
About Isabella
Isabella McDonnell is a Criminal Litigation Associate, assisting the team across its broad practice areas, including serious and general crime, international crime and extradition, financial and white-collar crime.
Prior to completing her training contract with the firm in 2026, Isabella joined Kingsley Napley in 2021 as a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution department where she assisted on a wide range of civil disputes, gaining varied litigation experience in areas from media and reputation management to contentious trusts and commercial disputes.
Isabella completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course LLM from BPP University in 2023. She subsequently completed an interdisciplinary Master of Science in Mental Health, Ethics and Law at King’s College London in 2024, with a research focus on mental capacity and criminal liability in the context of deepfake pornography and other forms of image-based abuse.
Before her legal qualifications, Isabella completed her liberal arts undergraduate degree at American University in Washington, D.C., along with a study abroad programme at Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires.
In addition to English, Isabella speaks Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
