About Conor
Conor is an Associate in the Private Client Team at Kingsley Napley, specialising in Court of Protection work.
He advises professional and lay deputies, attorneys and families on the management of the financial affairs of individuals who lack capacity. He assists with all aspects of deputyship administration, including managing property, investments and day-to-day finances, ensuring that decisions are made in clients’ best interests and in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Conor has experience managing complex deputyship matters involving personal injury and clinical negligence awards, residential care funding, property transactions, welfare benefits and substantial financial assets. He regularly prepares applications to the Court of Protection, including applications relating to statutory wills, gifting, property sales and deputyship appointments. He also has extensive experience with reporting to the Office of the Public Guardian and the ongoing management of clients’ affairs.
As a key point of contact for clients, families, carers and other professionals, Conor works closely with care providers, case managers, therapists, local authorities and financial advisers to ensure clients receive the support they need. He is committed to helping vulnerable individuals live as independently as possible while ensuring their financial affairs are managed effectively and sensitively.
Conor is known for his practical and approachable manner, building strong relationships with clients and those involved in their care. He understands the importance of balancing sound financial management with the promotion of dignity, independence and quality of life.
Having joined Kingsley Napley’s Court of Protection team in 2019, Conor trained at the firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2026.
