Andy is an experienced employment lawyer and advises both employee and employer clients on a wide range of employment matters.
He regularly advises employer clients on grievance, disciplinary and performance matters, TUPE-related issues, exit strategies and the negotiation that goes with this, and redundancies and re-organisations, as well as assisting with drafting employment contracts, handbooks and policies and settlement agreements.
Andy regularly represents senior employees in relation to redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters and negotiates exits, particularly for senior individuals working in financial services. He also has experience working for clients in a range of sectors, including: education, hospitality, retail, aviation and technology, and large national and multinational corporations.
Andy has successfully brought and defended numerous employment tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing.

Recent work
- Andy is acting for a large multinational technology and consulting company in connection with an employment tribunal claim brought against it by an employee following a TUPE transfer and advising on a number of grievances raised by employees following a TUPE transfer from one of the “big six” energy suppliers.
- Successfully secured a large settlement for a senior employee in respect of her claims for discrimination, unfair dismissal and equal pay against a large US bank.
