New Diversity, Equity and Inclusion changes to the Actuaries’ Code and Guidance

The City of London Law Society has appointed Louise Hodges, partner at Kingsley Napley, as the new Chair of its Corporate Crime and Corruption specialist Committee. She succeeds Eoin O’Shea of CMS Cameron McKenna as Chair.
Louise said:
"I am honoured to have been appointed by the CLLS to chair this important committee and look forward to building on the progress that was made under Eoin’s chairmanship. The City of London as a global financial powerhouse is a vital interest for the UK and the work of the committee is important in maintaining this status. I expect the committee to be very busy in the coming months following the recent publication of the Economic Crime Plan 2 and Fraud Strategy, as well as the progress of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill and proposals on failure to prevent fraud and corporate criminal liability.”
Eoin o'Shea added:
"It has been a privilege to serve the committee as Chair over the past seven years. I am delighted that Louise has been elected and am confident that the committee will continue to thrive under the leadership of such a distinguished practitioner.”
