Kingsley Napley LLP is pleased to announce that Melanie Hart has joined the firm as a Partner in Dispute Resolution to expand the firm’s growing commercial litigation team.

She will also continue to offer broad commercial dispute resolution advice.

Melanie joins from Ince Gordon Dadds where she has been a partner since 2018. She previously worked at Harbottle & Lewis for 10 years.  She is also Vice Chair of The Law Society’s Civil Justice Committee as well as an appointed Lay Observer for the Ministry of Justice.  She is a passionate DE&I advocate and speaker.

Richard Foss, Head of Dispute Resolution at Kingsley Napley, comments: “I am delighted to welcome Melanie to the firm. Her all-round capabilities fit perfectly with our client offering and she will look to develop our work in IP disputes and contentious data protection in particular. This is where the firm sees growing opportunity in the years ahead, given synergies with other areas of our business and the needs of our clients.”

Melanie Hart says, “I’m excited to be joining a firm in such growth mode, with an impressive litigation pedigree and such a lovely team. I anticipate that my skills and experience will be a great fit for Kingsley Napley’s clients and I look forward to developing these growth areas.”
