Kingsley Napley advises on the continued growth of New Stanton Park industrial park

2 June 2026

New Stanton Park is a new industrial park covering a 250-acre site between Derby and Nottingham aiming to attract logistics, manufacturing and other commercial businesses. It offers state-of-the-art warehouse facilities and industrial units that benefit from good transport connections, an upgraded power supply and proximity to a significant labour pool.

Kingsley Napley has provided a wide range of legal advice to the site’s developers Verdant Regeneration, including on the remediation works, the design, installation and commissioning of new power and water infrastructure, and the design and construct of industrial units.

The most recent collaboration was for the development of a 17,511 square foot warehouse, including the internal accommodation and external site works for the Tsubaki, the global Japanese manufacturer of industrial and
automotive drive chains and power transmission solutions. Our Construction partner Peter Metcalfe advised Verdant Regeneration on the forward funding development agreement and all construction contract and professional appointments, working alongside Verdant property advisor Shepherd and Wedderburn and also Shakespeare Martineau for the buyer.

Peter Metcalfe said, “It is always rewarding to see a large-scale development project such as this take shape, especially now that companies are starting to move in. New Stanton Park is a fantastic new industrial complex which will deliver great benefits to the East Midlands and the UK economy. We are very pleased to have been able to support them throughout the development process and look forward to the park continuing to go from strength to strength.”

Verdant Director David Grier comments:

“At every stage of the development Peter has given us both the legal advice we need and strategic guidance that we greatly value, and we are very pleased to have him on our side.”
