
About Caroline
Caroline joined the Corporate, Commercial & Finance team in August 2022 as an associate and specialises in advising on commercial matters. She advises entrepreneurs, startups and established businesses across a variety of sectors, with a focus on those in the technology sector.
Caroline advises on a wide variety of general commercial and contract issues, including those relating to the ownership and licensing of intellectual property rights, data protection compliance, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), consultancy agreements, contracts for the supply of goods and services, agency and distribution arrangements, sponsorship and franchising.
Caroline also specialises in advising innovative technology businesses on a variety of technology contracts, such as those relating to the development, licensing and maintenance of software, research and development, the provision of software as a service, software escrow arrangements and consultancy services.
Caroline completed her training contract working as External In-House counsel, advising a range of clients from start-ups to top-20 UK asset management firms, as well as industry associations, pension funds and boutique investment firms.
