Magda is an associate lawyer in the criminal litigation team.
She joined Kingsley Napley in 2018 as a Trainee Solicitor and became a fully qualified solicitor in September 2020, after completing her training contract with the firm.
Prior to joining Kingsley Napley, Magda worked as an adviser with the Refugee Council, a Research Fellow with the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice and Human Rights, and in various roles with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Her work with UNHCR focused on legal protection of refugees and adjudication of refugee claims, including of complex cases involving the application of international criminal and humanitarian law (exclusion from international protection, cancellation and revocation of refugee status, extradition).
Magda completed Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course with distinction. She also holds a Master’s degree in Refugee Studies. She has a keen interest in Neurocriminology and legal and ethical aspects of Artificial Intelligence.
