Laura is the Senior HCPC litigator in the Regulatory and Professional Discipline department. She assists the Practice Area Leader with the management of the Health and Care Professions Council contract. Laura has an extensive case load,  investigating and presenting cases against all Health Care and Professions Council registered professionals.

Laura’s career at Kingsley Napley has involved prosecuting cases on behalf of several regulatory bodies including the HCPC, Security Industry Authority, General Dental Council, National College for Teaching and Leadership and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Laura often advises on the most complex cases involving experts, vulnerable witnesses and multiple registrants. In addition she provides extensive case management support to the colleagues in her team providing direction and answering legal queries.

During the course of her career Laura has advised police officers in criminal and professional discipline matters. She practised criminal law for 8 years appearing at police stations and at Court on behalf of defendants charged with offences ranging from manslaughter to theft.
