Karlia is a barrister in the Regulatory team. She specialises in professional discipline, crime and extradition.
She joined Kingsley Napley in 2020 as an associate advocate acting primarily on behalf of the Health and Care Professions Council.
She is an experienced advocate sought after for serious cases involving violence, weapons, trafficking, sexual offences, drugs, theft and fraud.
As a presenter acting on behalf of the HCPC, Karlia is instructed in a wide range of cases including allegations of sexual assault, fraud and negligence.
She is committed to high standards of case preparation and achieves excellent results through informed legal argument and persuasive advocacy. She is particularly adept at expert and vulnerable witness handling and can synthesize complex evidence in large cases to present compelling arguments on behalf of the client.
