Anest Ellis is a Legal Assistant in the Regulatory Team, she joined Kingsley Napley in August 2020.
At Kingsley Napley, Anest investigates fitness to practise matters on behalf of the Education Workforce Council, Teaching Regulation Agency and Health and Care Professions Council. Anest is a first language Welsh speaker and so is able to conduct investigations both in Welsh and in English and is also able to translate documents.
As a Legal Assistant, Anest is experienced in interviewing witnesses, drafting witness statements, conducting vulnerable witness assessments, drafting skeleton arguments and case summaries. Anest is involved in complex cases involving sexual misconduct, maladministration and dishonesty. She is experienced in dealing with vulnerable witnesses, and has been able to secure the involvement of witnesses on cases that it was thought that we may not be able to do so.
Prior to joining Kingsley Napley, Anest worked in Motor Defendant Insurance law. Anest holds a degree in Law (LLB) and Master’s Degree in International Business, Corporate and Finance Law (LLM).
