The permanent immigration limits: a practical guide for employers

The permanent caps on non-EU immigration to the UK come into effect on 6 April 2011 and will have a direct impact on the ability of UK-based employers to bring in skilled staff from outside the EEA. The limits are part of the government’s attempt to reduce net migration to the UK.
