To celebrate and mark Black History Month, we present an engaging discussion on how law firms have and can respond to Black Lives Matter.
We will be joined by Nadine Pemberton, a Senior Lawyer and Coaching Consultant with extensive experience in front line and senior leadership roles in regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters. Shannett Thompson, Partner in our Regulatory Department will introduce the discussion.

Nadine Pemberton is a coach, diversity and inclusion educator, and a lawyer with extensive experience in front line and senior leadership roles in regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters, spanning the regulatory, criminal and civil fields across the public sector. These include roles as: the first Executive Director of Legal at Social Work England, the newly formed national regulator for the social work profession in England; the Head of Governance and Legal Services at the Care Quality Commission; the Head of Prosecutions at the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission; a Senior Crown Prosecutor for The Crown Prosecution Service; and an advisory lawyer at the Independent Office for Police Conduct. Throughout her career Nadine has also specialised in strategic organisational development, team change and transformation. Nadine recently founded Pemberton+ Coaching and Consulting, where she works internationally as a coach and consultant.
Shannett Thompson is a Partner in the Regulatory Team providing regulatory advice predominantly in the health and social care sector. She is also a member of the private prosecutions team providing advice to individuals, business and charities in respect of prosecutions were traditional agencies are unwilling or unable to act.
